CELEBRATING 50 YEARS OF ROWING ON THE SNAKE 

The Cougar Crew Alumni Association and WSU Varsity Club Rowing invite Cougar Crew alumni, current rowers, coxswains, and coaches, and the families and friends of both, to attend Cougar Crew Days 2020 in Pullman.

This will be the largest Cougar Crew Days event to date. 50 years of rowing. You will want to be there. Highlights of the weekend are below and more details will be posted in early February.

We’re taking RSVP's to help us prepare the events and festivities for what is already looking to be record turnout—400 and counting! Please, help us in this regard by completing the RSVP below. Let us know how many people (including yourself and guests) are planning to attend. Thank you!

Remember all those things we said we would do as an alum?

Now is our time to show support. Let's show up and show the support WSU’s rowers, coxswains and coaches deserve for their hard work. Cougar Crew Days proceeds contribute significantly to the team’s annual operating budget.

Lodging in Pullman for Cougar Crew Days 2020

Below you will find information for the Cougar Crew Days reservation block at the Marriott Courtyard Pullman. This group rate offer is being extended through the event and is expected unless the hotel reaches 90% capacity. If booking by phone be sure to specify you are with the Cougar Crew to access the rates below.

FRIDAY

Golf at Palouse Ridge
Tee times ranging from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Reduced rate for Cougar Crew guests, $50 per person for 18 holes including a cart.

11:30 am - 12 pm @ the Palouse Ridge Golf Course

CCAA Board Meeting
Stay informed about Cougar Crew

1 - 4 pm @ the Lewis Alumni Centre

 

Icebreaker at CUB Ballroom
Meet up with old friends and meet new over food and drinks. There will be memorabilia and tours of the team's on campus workout facility as well as signups for the various rows available on Saturday.

5 - 8 pm @ the CUB Ballroom

 

SATURDAY

Activities on the Snake at Wawaiwai Landing
Row with friends or try your hand against the current team. There will also be boathouse tours and many photo opportunities with the beautiful backdrop that is the Snake River.

11 - 3 pm @ the Ken Abbey Shellhouse, Wawawai Landing, Snake River

Banquet and Silent Auction
Doors open for the Banquet at Beasley Coliseum at 5 PM. There are many activities and a packed program you will not want to miss. A few of the program highlights include history milestones of the 50 years of Cougar Crew, a silent auction with many unique Cougar Crew and rowing related memorabilia, mingling with Cougar Crew alumni and current team, and the always exciting live auction that includes many handmade, unique and highly sought after items.

Saturday Row Waiver

Looking forward to getting back in a boat to see if you still have it? A waiver is required from anyone who wants to row on Saturday. The waiver button link will take you to the University Recreation page where you will need to click on the "Register Now" button. The "Register Now" button will take you to a Friends of

WSU login page where you will setup an account to sign the waiver to row. Please fill out the waiver now to ensure we have your spot saved! If there are people you want to row with please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate all requests.

If you are unable to attend Cougar Crew Days but would like to assist with the push to meet the team's endowment goals, please follow the links below.

Proceeds from this account is used for coaching salaries. Supporting the crew at this most basic level provides the opportunity for men’s and women’s club rowing to exist as a competitive program.

Donations to this campaign support current operating expenses including travel, new equipment and repairs of shells and launches.
